Diary Post

It's been a few days since I have wrote down how I am feeling. I am getting a little worried about my health more so than ever. Two days ago, I tried opening up a large jar and got so dizzy that I thought I was going to pass out.

My specialist thinks that I may have a thyroid issue also, so she has ordered blood work. I will find out the lab results Monday.

I can't explain what I am going through, I am just trying to stay positive. I also have been very emotional because I am worried about paying my bills and covering medical expenses. Lately, I have not really felt like a woman. Sex with my husband is excruciating and is basically non-existent at the moment. I know that this is taking a toll on him also. I just feel like I am not able to offer what other women can. I won't even begin to touch on the pregnancy subject because I cannot put into words how much I long to conceive.

On Tuesday, I am going in for a bladder installation treatment for IC. I am a little nervous about the treatment, but I hope that I can get some relief from my IC condition. I also have a cystoscopy with hydro scheduled on January 31st. I am extremely nervous about this procedure because I have not gotten positive feedback from my Twitter friends.

Anyway, enough about me. How are you holding up?

Diary Post

Well, today I woke up with a cold. I am sure that everyone reading this can relate to how much more a cold can bring you down. I am bloated, weak, in pain, and am having a difficult time keeping my eyes open.

I continue to have to force myself to eat - my appetite is just not there. It has been just a little a month since my initial laparoscopy and my diagnosis date. I have not had any relief. I have my first appointment with my new Endometriosis Specialist on Wednesday and I am so ready! I want to hear my treatment options and more about my specific case of endometriosis. Getting answers from the gynocologist that performed my surgery and diagnosed me is like pulling teeth.

Before I was diagnosed with Endometriosis, I was told that I had PFD and Interstitial Cystitis (IC). Then I was told that I was misdiagnosed. I have never gotten a definite answer on if I have those 2 illnesses along with Endo or not. Yes, I know that most of my readers are not doctors, but I just wanted your opinion - what are your thoughts? Have any of you been diagnosed with Endo and PFD? Endo and IC? Are IC and PFD the same thing? Please share your thoughts.

I would really like to hear feedback from all of my Warriors out there who have experienced this. Like I have said before, I had never heard of Endometriosis before I was diagnosed. I look to all of my twitter followers, blog readers, and the famous Google for guidance. I appreciate and admire all of the beautiful and strong women that this terrible disease has introduced me to

Even though I do not have a lot of experience or information on Endometriosis, my goal when forming this blog was to spread our stories. I also wanted to inspire women like me to cherish each day. Mostly, I wanted to cheer all of my Endo Sisters up as much as possible.
