From Me to You

It is only a little after midnight, but I spent all day yesterday contemplating how I was feeling. To be honest, I am not really sure. I was going to try to explain my emotions but I feel that I would be very selfish to do so. Instead, I want to talk about my amazing Endometriosis and IC sufferers. I have heard bad news from some of my Endo Sisters and know that there are a few who are having an even harder time than usual.

One woman is dealing with a medical insurance appeal to see an Endo Specialist outside of her network.

One sweet lady was turned away from a scheduled surgery because she didn't have a deposit that the hospital failed to tell her about until the day of. Her health was put on hold for only a few hundred dollars.

Several are struggling to come up with the funds to have a much needed surgery, and then there is the majority of Endo sufferers who are struggling to get the treatment they deserve.

Not to mention the many who do not have health insurance, and are suffering everyday to make it until they qualify for group insurance.

I also want to acknowledge the many lives controlled by IC. I know how difficult and painful the treatments are, and how you are willing to try anything for IC relief.

And to those suffering from Endo and IC: I bless you. Every day is a challenge.

To the Endo Sisters that are suffering from PFD: I am with you through every painful muscle spasm.

To the women who know Endometriosis is not their only condition, I feel your pain. I hope that you continue to keep you head up no matter what life throws at you.

For those of you who suffer from conditions that I am not familiar with, or have not experienced, I pray for you. I pray that you find relief and find the courage in yourself to press on.

To all of the amazing women who dream of being a mother and are struggling to become pregnant, or have been unable to deliver a beautiful child my heart aches for you. You all deserve the happiness that you long for.

You are strong. You will get through it. You are beautiful.

I want you to know how special you are and to know that your feelings, thoughts, and experiences are not ignored.

I see and notice your daily struggles and am working to improve the lives of all of my Endo Sisters!

I admire each and every one of you. You all inspire me to be a better person!

xo Heather

P.S. Please pray for all of the Endo Sisters, and those suffering from other chronic illnesses
